Vic Ferrari is a band. A band who lives in the moment and has the chemistry that people relish. A band that evolved with little attrition and stands by a business plan of “have fun & make a career having fun.” We still laugh with each other and travel worldwide with our fans.
The band remains incredibly musical and draws people with entertainment, diverse talent (all 8 members sing lead) and incredible in-house concert production. In short, a professional organization that does not need pampering or babysitting to achieve the desired result-a great evening of entertainment!
With no more than a name originating from Andy Kaufman’s character in the hit television show “Taxi” and a big dream, the Vic Ferrari Band was founded in 1988. With over 2500 shows under the belt, the band has played a large assortment of venues ranging from Rockfest, Octoberfest, and Summerfest to weddings, casinos, and corporate events across the U.S., the Caribbean, and Mexico. A love of music and a passion to entertain has driven the seven-piece ensemble to excel in winning over any audience. Playing a mix of classic rock from the 60’s to today, and even tossing in a little country, the band is known for sounding as good as the original artist and sometimes even better. The desire to always find a new and exciting way to entertain, the band has created the “Symphony on the Rocks”. The show is played five times a year with a 28 piece symphony combining forces to create a unique awe-inspiring spectacle unlike anything else ever seen.
Always eager to reach new fans, we look forward to working with you! Contact Willie Harrison at [email protected] or (920) 997-9940 for available dates and information. Thank You!
To all Vic Fans & Friends.
It’s been a brisk 35 years since Vic Ferrari became a band. Our career was made with only one thing in mind; performing great rock & roll and letting your mind forget about the problems of the day. We traveled and performed out of our comfort zone to a greater success than we ever thought possible. The hayseeds from Calumet County achieved some truly remarkable things:
•Performed in 12 states, Ireland, Italy, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Mexico (7 times) Jamaica and numerous Cruise Ships. Alaska is upcoming. How cool is that!! We also traveled to 20 other destinations outside the US to play privately. Dang! That was fun
•Were the first in North America to perform on only iPads with our Symphony. No 1. That was pushed to us from our great symphony players.
•Our fan base raised countless $$$ for great charitable organizations in the Midwest. We got our chance and took care of people through the power of music.
•Supported other bands with our great sound, lighting and production. Also purchased Waverly Beach so musicians had another place to play. We cared for all……..and that ain’t no sh%t.
As of the end of October of 2022, we will stop performing as Vic Ferrari. It’s been a great 35 years.
Our farewell tour begins now and we couldn’t be more grateful to each and every person who has been on this journey with us. The band members would love to see you in the audience one more time. Every upcoming show will be our last at that venue.
•Willie says “Never say never.” Lol
•Wayne mentioned that the Vic Camp Outing will go on, and on, and on.
Thanks for making us feel so appreciated all these years! What a great team we have! We will post upcoming shows and thank sponsors in the near future.
Michael, Tom, Dragon, JEM, Ron, Chad, Willie, Russ, Kathy, Paula & Wayne.
